Which option should I choose?

Glad you asked! When choosing which collection you are interested in, here are some things to consider:

~ how many people will be in the session?

~ have you recently had a newborn?

~ do you desire a multi-generational session?

~ do I have a home that has a good source of natural light and is an accommodating space to work with?

~ do I have anyone in the family that has needs which require accommodation for?

~ do your children have a ton of energy and work best in an open environment?

What would an in-home family session include?

Imagine, you and your spouse recently welcomed the newest addition to your home and are adjusting to all the new routines. Maybe you have other little ones and you would like to document them in their own home. This option is an intimate way to capture your everyday life -avoiding structured poses and just being in the moment. Whether that is playing uno together as a family, brothers wrestling to see who wins or giving their newest sibling lots of cuddles - an in-home session might be the best option for you!

We recommend these sessions stay under 7 people if possible and only include your immediate family. This is NOT for a multi-generational session. We highly recommend this if you have a newborn.

What would an outdoor family session look like?

Our outdoor family sessions are the most popular collections we offer! These packages are almost limitless in how many people you can include, any posing or combinations you may want, having your pets as an addition and bringing any props or accessories you like. If you have a large family, kids with a ton of energy, love the sunrise or sunset glow in photos, admire the outdoor natural light look, wanting to add extended family into the mix or just want some fun joy-filled images with lots of laughter - this might be the right choice for you!

Often these sessions are booked closer to the morning or evening depending on the time of year, so that we get the prettiest light! Evenings tend to be our favorite because that sunset glow is always beautiful in images.
